Inspired by my 20 years of Wizards fandom this animation was a month long project that consists of 8 players, 7 highlight plays and a “For the District“ closing animation. I had to switch the jerseys of a few of the players since they were new additions and there were no reference videos of them in their new threads. I wanted to make a mock ad length, fit for tv or promotion for the team.
This animation was inspired by a classic interview from back in December 2017, where after the Washington Wizards’ win over the Phoenix Sun, injured star John Wall asks teammate Bradley Beal some hard hitting questions which include the very memable quote, “Bradley Beal was out there gettin’ bucket buckets, I ain’t neva eva!”
